HUDSON, WISCONSIN — DeHavilland Dreams, Inc. announced this week a new partnership with Minnesota – based retailer Border Bob’s. The northern Minnesota retailer will begin carrying several deHavilland Dreams products within their International Falls store including, custom painted 1:24th scale de Havilland Beaver seaplane models, seaplane (instrument panel) mousepads, and 1:24th scale “basic” unassembled de Havilland Beaver seaplane models.
This month’s announcement is another step forward by the owners of deHavilland Dreams to become the premier outfitter for seaplane related merchandise both within the United States, and internationally. It also emphasizes the company’s direction, focusing more of their attention on the retail sales of seaplane plastic models, RC floatplanes and seaplane enthusiast apparel throughout 2011 and 2012.
“We are very excited about this new partnership with Border Bob’s,” said Christopher Busch, owner of deHavilland Dreams, Inc. “Border Bob’s has remained an iconic storefront on the International Falls border of U.S. and Canada for more than 30 years. The quality of souvenirs, knickknacks, apparel and art they offer tourists represents the same type of quality that’s at the core of our company’s values and product offering.”
Over the next several weeks, deHavilland Dreams will continue to finalize details regarding the eventual addition of deHavilland Dreams full-line of seaplane apparel and accessories, including: t-shirts, hats, distressed tote bags, hoodie sweatshirts, distressed military caps and long-sleeve shirts.
